As compared to our standard "equal" open width hinges, unequal leaf hinges are better suited to fix more custom applications. Standard hinge configuration reflect leave lengths of equal length, unequal leaf hinges may have one leaf at 1" and the other leaf at 2", making the total unequal open width 3.00 inches.

To avoid additional tooling costs, an inventory of unequal leaf hinges may avoid the customization and manufacturing of an entirely new design. Unequal leaf hinges are useful when mounting areas differ in surface size.
